Bordeaux Bulldogs was established in 2002 when I decided I wanted to
take my
love of bulldogs to the next level.
I now work to develop my dogs
in weight pulling, protection work, conformation, and above all to be excellent
family companions. My dogs are raised in my house with husband
and two kids.
The name Bordeaux Bulldogs comes from my love of French wines,
especially
those from the Bordeaux region.
We currently show our dogs with the UKC, NKC, and ABNA.
UPDATE: January 2008, we are
taking a break from showing/working dogs for a few
years to focus on our kids' many activities and to travel. The dogs are
eager
to enjoy some *pet life* for awhile but don't worry...we'll be back!
NOTE: We have been made aware of
breeders who are crossing
Dogues de Bordeaux and American Bulldogs and calling them
"Bordeaux Bulldogs". We are NOT in
anyway associated
with this
practice or
encourage it.
